Born and raised in Curaçao, Marc Vinck (1974) started photographing professionally in 2007 after winning the 1st place prize for wildlife photography in a photo competition hosted by the New York Institute of Photography.
Since then he photographed weddings, commercials, concerts, sports, private parties and press conferences in Curacao, St. Maarten, Holland and South Africa.
Wanting to learn more about the art of photography he moved to Holland in 2010 and joined the Fotoacademie in Rotterdam.
After his graduation in 2014 he moved back to Curacao to start up a new concept in the local art scene called Project 3.
In this current exhibition his work named “Splash” is an exploration of the behavior of water and light in motion.
